Buses from Birmingham City Centre via Harborne: 22 Buses from Birmingham City Centre via Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Selly Oak (Oak Tree Lane bus stops and Weoley Park Road) and Weoley Castle: X64 Buses from Halesowen: 202 Buses from Yardley Wood via Cotteridge and Northfield: 18 Buses from Merry Hill via Halesowen: 002 Buses from Woodgate: X64 Buses from Kitwell: 22 The 48 route no longer goes to Newman. To travel from West Bromwich catch the 48 and change at Harborne for the 22.

The nearest railway station is Northfield, however if you are travelling by rail we recommend leaving the train at University station for the X64 bus service. To access the X64 bus route leave the train at University station and head for the Queen Elizabeth hospital (across the road and along a well marked path), where the X64 buses share stops going to and from Newman. Alternatively, Newman is about 10 minutes away by taxi. For information on train operators and times, phone National Rail Enquiries on 0845 7484950.

If you are approaching from Adams Hill do not turn left on to Jiggins Lane, but continue past the shops and turn onto the students' car park for the main entrance and visitors' car park. If using a GPS/Sat Nav system please enter the co-ordinates: 52.433003,-1.993246 or enter the postcode: B32 3NU. Students with a parking permit can park in the Student Car Park or in the Bartley Green Sailing Club Car Park (8.30am to 5.30pm, weekdays except Wednesday; Wednesday 8.30am to 1pm, term time only (September to mid-May). The visitors car park is accessed through the student car park on Genners Lane.
