Malachi Parenting Programmes service

About ‘Malachi Parenting Programmes service’

Our experience of childhood has a great bearing on how we in turn parent our own children. For some families a cycle of negative experiences becomes entrenched. Helping parents to understand and address this key truth is at the heart of the Malachi Parenting Programme, which is called Inspiring Futures. Inspiring Futures is a 12 week programme for up to 12 parents. The group meets weekly and is guided by a trained professional to explore how they themselves were parented and how this may have led to issues around bonding and attachment. This allows them to understand how they can break the cycle with their own children. The parents are from similar backgrounds and the group format allows them to share experiences and support each other on their journey.
